Dr. Bijay Kumar Mandal obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics Honours from PKRM College under V.B.U., Hazaribagh in 2003 and completed his M.Sc. in Mathematics from the same institution in 2006. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from IIT ISM Dhanbad in 2012. His doctoral research focused on various mathematical models based on gravitational lensing phenomena, resulting in 13 international journal papers, including 5 SCI and Scopus publications. He has also presented his work at 4 international conferences.
Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he served as Deputy Examination Controller for 10 years and as Dean Academics for 5 years.
Dr. Mandal’s dedication to education and research has significantly contributed to the academic and administrative excellence at VVIT. His extensive experience and leadership continue to inspire and guide the VVIT community toward achieving greater heights.
