Electronics & Communication
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department has been continuously striving for excellence in engineering education right from its inception as a separate department in 2010. Focused growth and consolidation of concepts has been the mission of the Department.
The Department has always been on a high growth path to keep pace with the ever increasing importance of the major subjects and current technology trends. The Department has a fine blend of young and dynamic personalities as faculty, and is involved in providing quality education in the field along with enthusing the students towards contributing in the present arena of electronics and communication engineering. The syllabi of the courses are continuously updated as per AKU and the laboratories modernized to reflect the rapid changes in technology.
Electronic engineering involves the design and testing of electronic circuits that use the properties of components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes and transistors to achieve a particular functionality. The tuned circuit, which allows the user of a radio to filter out all but a single station, is just one example of such a circuit. Telecommunications engineering focuses on the transmission of information across a channel such as a coax cable, optical fiber or free space.
