Key Initiatives and Achievements:

 
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship Programs: VVIT has integrated courses and training programs focused on innovation, intellectual property rights (IPR), and entrepreneurship into its curriculum. Notably, the Department of Computer Science offered a “Training on Digital Marketing,” and the Electronics and ICT Academy at IIT Kanpur conducted a “Software Training Program,” both emphasizing entrepreneurial skills. ​

  • Skill Development Workshops: The institute organized various faculty development programs (FDPs) and workshops aimed at enhancing employability and innovation skills. Examples include “A Hands-on Introduction to Engineering Simulations using Finite Element Analysis” by the Mechanical Engineering Department and “Antennas and Modern Wireless System” by the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. ​

  • Student Innovation Clubs: VVIT supports several student-led clubs that promote innovation and entrepreneurship. The Coding Club, IoT and Robotics Club, and Entrepreneurship Club provide co-working spaces and resources to encourage student-led projects and startups. ​

  • Faculty Development: Faculty members at VVIT have participated in specialized training programs related to innovation and entrepreneurship, enhancing their ability to mentor students in these areas.
