Birch Trees: Mature tree trunk grows white bark with a root base that grows near the surface of the soil making it an amazingling beautiful tree in all forms- full of shade leaf producing limbs. Leaves will fade colors and shed each fall, beginning new growth early spring.
Japanese Maple Tree: Mature trees have slender, arching branches which support an open canopy of delicate lobed leaves. The leaves on new shoots vary from yellow to orange-ish to red, with autumn colours equally as bright. Small yellowish flowers develop in late spring to early summer. The bark of young trees is green, red in some varieties, turning to a light grey or brown as the tree matures. These trees are a popular bonsai in Japan and the Western world and can grow up to 15 – 25 feet *naturally.
Western Cedar Tree: In nature, mature trees can grow to be medium-size to extremely large evergreen trees 70–150+ ft tall and up to 8 ft in diameter. Cedar trees do best in environments with more light and may allow them to have fuller branches much closer to the ground. Female trees will produce small pinecones each fall.
